Volunteer Positions

We offer many different Volunteer Positions to people of all different skills and ages.  Some of these positions include Assistant Golf Instructors, Range & Course Monitors, Office assistants and Maintenance helpers.  For a complete list of volunteer positions please visit our website.

Volunteers Scheduling

As a volunteer you will receive an email or letter every two weeks updating you on the current schedule including volunteer openings available for each lesson/class.  If you are available to volunteer please call or email Deanne Prior, Volunteer Coordinator, with the days and times of your availability, as soon as possible.  Volunteers will receive a confirmation on all times and dates that they sign up for.

All volunteers must coordinate through Deanne by email, phone call, or in person.

Volunteer Hours & Sign In Information

In an effort to track all of our volunteer hours, for grant purposes we have gotten rid of the volunteer sign in sheet and now have a new state of the art system to keep an accurate record of all volunteer hours.  In order to sign in on the day you volunteer you will enter your three-digit code and press enter.  Then before you leave simply enter your code again and that will sign you out!   This will help us keep track of our active and in-active volunteers.  We request a minimum of 4 hours each month to keep a volunteer at an active status. 

Volunteer Benefits

In appreciation of your time and dedication all of our volunteers will be allowed to hit balls and play the course for free on the day they volunteer and our Active Volunteers will receive Volunteer Benefits on days that they don’t volunteer.

We are all very excited to have the opportunity to see and work with every one of you this year.  Volunteers are essential to the success of our mission at Button Hole and with your help we will make the great game of golf accessible and affordable to many young people.
