FOR KIDS

The 2008 golf season at Button Hole has NEW programs!

Are you ready to sign your child up for a program?  Now you can download our new 2008 Kids Registration Form(Please turn off all pop-up blockers.  Acrobat Reader is required to view our forms. Download it HERE.)

Simply fill it out and mail, fax, or hand it into our pro shop.  All classes are limited to a 5 student minimum and a maximum of 12.  Registration is on a first come first serve basis.  All registration forms received and processed by mail and fax, will be confirmed by email. 

 

Kids Lessons

When you enroll in our "BH" Kids Golf Program you pay $1 to play until the age of 18!

Wee Putters    3 Lessons - 1 Hour Per Lesson                           (Ages 5 - 6)

  • Beginning Fundamentals of Putting, Chipping, Safety & Etiquette

Beginner     6 Lessons - 1 1/2 Hours Per Lesson     (Must be at least 7)

  • Safety & Etiquette
  • Fundamentals of Putting & Chipping
  • Introduction to Greenside Pitching
  • Fundamentals of Full Golf Swing/Fairway Irons & Driving
  • Introduction to Bunker Play
  • Kids hit balls for $1
  • Graduates play the course for $1 and MUST play with adult supervision.

Any child that completed the previous Beginner I program will receive a $45 discount on the new Beginner program!

Intermediate     4 Lessons - 1 1/2 Hours Per Lesson   (Must Qualify)

  • Full Swing, Putting, Chipping & Pitching Intensified Combined w/ Course Play
  • Continued work on Safety and Etiquette
  • Graduates are deemed Course Ready
  • Graduates hit balls and play the course for $1 (unsupervised)

Advanced       4 Lessons - 2 Hours Per Lesson                   (Must Qualify)

  • Emphasis on Course Play and Course Management
  • Skill Specific Instruction
  • Introduction to USGA Handicap System
  • On course training at a full 18 hole course (if available)
  • Graduates hit balls and play course for $1
  • Graduates eligible for the Button Hole Kid Full Course Golf Tournaments

Competitive          To Be Determined by Player's Skills and Ability

We pride ourselves on accommodating all clubs, schools, businesses and organizations in our community.  We welcome people of all abilities. Golfers will be introduced to the history and tradition of the game and instructed in etiquette and codes of conduct, skills development, course play, and have Fun!

 Lesson Expectations

  • Be on time.
  • Listen carefully to "Coach" and all staff members.
  • Be friendly and meet new "golf mates."
  • Wear golf shoes or sneakers to lessons.
  • Follow all rules of safety and golf.
  • Respect each other's differences and abilities.
  • Practice between lessons.
